Members and friends of Tumaini Fund Canada have had three successful fundraisers since April.
All the funds raised are now being wired to Kagera to enable many to attend secondary school, to build a house, to purchase goats and bicycles.
We are thankful to St. Mary’s Church and the Nanoose community for supporting the 2 bottle drives and white elephant sales and the lovely Strawberry Tea. 
At the tea there were displays of the clothing made by Tumaini Crafters. Beautiful baskets made by the ladies in Africa were available for sale, and we still have some if anyone would like to make a purchase. All money raised is sent to help the orphans and desperately poor families in Kagera, Tanzania.
