100% of every donation goes to Kagera to help support the orphans and desperately poor families.
CRA Tax receipts are issued by email in the beginning of the new year for donations exceeding $20.

buys 10 hard-covered notebooks (Daftari) required for each student to attend school. Lack of books is one of the main reasons a child can't access education in Tanzania.

buys a solar lamp to enable a student to complete homework and study. As well, families can create crafts in the evening to supplement their income.

helps with annual Education costs for a Secondary School Student

sponsors a child for one whole year. Education is free, but this sum will buy the necessary school uniform, work books, pencils, a mosquito net and food.

buys a treadle sewing machine for a newly registered tailoring student. In the second year of the course, tailoring students sew required school uniforms for other orphans. Students learn English, Math and business skills. After their two year program, each tailoring student takes home their treadle sewing machine to start their own business.

buys a breeding dairy-goat for a widow and a special goat-hut so they can sell milk and be more self sustaining.
TOSO (Tumaini Orphan Support Organisation) has a milk program to feed babies who are orphaned in their first year of life.

digs a new shallow well that enables villages access to clean drinking water for the first time.
ONE WELL provides disease-free clean water for HUNDREDS of people.

builds a new, safe house with water harvesting for a family of orphans instead of a hut made of twigs and leaves. They do not have to worry about heavy rains, wild animals or risk of fire while cooking.
